I was working as a lawyer and mum to 3 young children. I wasn’t enjoying my job and I was finding it hard to make it to all the school/nursery concerts, sports days etc. Something had to give and when there was a chance of redundancy at work I jumped at it.
Pottery was always my hobby. I had made clay hand and foot prints for friends’ children. Hubby and I chatted and we decided to see if I could make Pottyemma work and I gave myself one year. That was back in 2012 and now 9 years later I love my job. I love working with new mums and dads taking clay imprints of children. There is nothing better than new puppy kisses. I have taken 10,000s of imprints over the years and love a challenging child or dog!
