How does Pottyemma at home work?

• Upon ordering, Your print kit will be posted to you within 3 working days.

• Your print kit will include some mould materials and some simple instructions to follow. You take a handprint and footprint mould. Don't worry if you've never tried imprinting before, it's easy and simple to do!

• After following the instructions included in the craft kit, you will then post the kit back to Pottyemma

• Once Pottyemma has received your moulds, she will use them to create a bespoke kiln firmed ceramic item.

• Your final items will be posted to you 4 weeks after Pottyemma has received the moulds

What is included in the kits?

What if I would like to order several items, do I need several kits?

If you would like several items then you only need to order one kit. Pottyemma can use one set of moulds to make as many items as you would like.

I have two children. Do I need a separate kit for each child?

There is a sibling kit which you can order here. This will have enough mould material to take a hand from each child or a foot from each child. This is for one child under 1 year old and one child under 5. This would also work for twins under 1 year old. If you would like a hand and foot of each child then you will need to buy two kits.

What happens to the moulds after they have been used?

Are there any additional cost?

The kit includes all the items you need to make the mould. Most kits include vouchers either for an amount of money or for a specific item. You will then need to pay for any additional ceramic items.

You will also need to post the moulds back to Pottyemma which will cost £2 for second class large letter.

You can choose to collect the finished items for free from Pottyemma at EH10 6QR or they can be posted to you for £3.50.

Some gift boxes include all postage costs.

How long will it take?

The kit will be posted to you within 3 working days. You will need to then use the mould material to take the imprints and post the kit back to Pottyemma. Pottyemma then uses the mould material to make the ceramic prints. Your final items will be posted to you 4 weeks after Pottyemma receives the mould.

How do I order additional items and how do I pay for them?

In the kit there is an order form so complete the order form when you return to kit. Once Pottyemma receives your mould kit back she will invoice you for any additional items.
